Every year PepsiCo creates a “Power of One spot” in which they push Lays, Pepsi, Doritos, Dew & Bubly as the go-to snack for the holidays. But they were stuck in a vicious cycle of utilizing expensive celebs like Anna Kendrick & Jimmy Fallon and reinventing the wheel story-wise year after year. PepsiCo wanted something an iconic as Coca-Cola’s Polar Bears – something they could build equity upon each year. So we gave them Chip and his pals Slush, Sleet, Ava Lanche, and Flurry.
